Is Blogging Dead? What’s The Best Place to Post Content?

In a world of Facebook and Instagram (AND Twitter AND LinkedIn AND Snapchat AND Pinterest AND Tumblr AND Skoobles…okay I made that one up…) what’s the point of posting on a blog?

DOES ANYONE READ BLOGS ANYMORE?! Gone are the days of the RSS feed and scrolling through all your favorite bloggers to see what’s up on the WWW.

As a result, sometimes I feel like “blog” is becoming a dirty word. Maybe because every time I mention it to an entrepreneur who wants to expand their reach online, they react as if I just asked them to swallow a jar of mayonnaise. And, believe me, I get it. I mean, if no one’s checking your blog every day for the latest, is blogging just a big, fat waste of time?

Episode 22 of Awkward Marketing takes on the digital dilemma of WHERE THE HECK TO CREATE AND POST YOUR CONTENT! I mean, what’s the point of having a blog if you can just hop on Facebook Live and share your content there? Bing, bang, boom. No fuss, no mess, no houuuurs of writing posts. Catch the vid for my answer to that..
