How To Use Love To Grow Your Business

This Monday, I had the honor of joining Doug Foresta as a guest on his show Creating Change on Empower Radio.

We talked a bit about Awesomepreneur and then dove into what it means to work with heart, why cultivating a heart-centered lifestyle is good for for the planet, and how to weave heartwork into your life, entrepreneur or not.

Spoiler alert: I break it down into two building blocks. Purpose + People (Doug added Planet during our chat and it couldn’t be more perfect.) Awesomepreneurship starts by getting in touch with your heartwork–an expression of your life’s purpose.  It is solidified by community–relationships with heartworking people. And, as Doug pointed out, the more we live from a purposeful, community-oriented, heart-centered place, the better it is for the planet.

Doug and I met in the Hungry Entrepreneurs community (of eBooks Suck! fame) who we gush about a lil’ during the show. Doug and I agreed that it’s communities like the Hungries that fuel our heartwork. The building blocks of awesomepreneurship–Purpose + People–come as a complete set. People give us purpose. And when we live with purpose, we connect with awesome people. Cool, right?

Now, for how that fits into running a business, you’ll have to listen to the show:

Catch the full half hour of heartwork on this week’s episode of Creating Change, “How To Use Love To Grow Your Business.”
